Our place was constructed in the 1970's and, as
such, our rooms are cozy in size. With that in mind, 'get comfortable,relax, think of our place as yours,…it's all here for you'.
Visitors have hailed from Siberia, Canada, England, Mexico, Maine, Illinois, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Massachusetts, California, Oregon, Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Alaska, New York, etc. We're informal/easy going and like guests to relax and enjoy what we have. If you desire, Miraval Resort is immediately adjacent to us…take the trail to their place for massage, meditation, sea weed wraps, etc.
Check in is from 4 to 8 PM.
Check out is 11 AM, but can vary if guests are on a ride/hike or birding/lepping.

Way Out West has been offering lodging since 1998.
The business evolved from people 'showing up to ride, hike and nature watch', subsequently having too much fun afterwards and asking to 'just hang out somewhere'. We'd find money stuffed in envelopes with 'thanks' written and 'you should do this for a business'. As the 'empty nest' occured, in 1998 we took the advice.
Our Lodging is done in a "Bed & Breakfast" fashion.Start your morning with capuccino, latte, coffee or tea. along with a variety of fruit and vegetable juices, all for your choosing.
Warm breakfast or cold fruits, our morning fare can include Homemade waffles, Eggs Benedict, homemade Quiché, Homemade chorizo & egg breakfast burritos, muffins or homemade bread, yogurt, fresh cut fruits, oatmeal, hard-cooked eggs, and variety cereals.

The Patio room has it's own private 
entrance with access to spas right outside the door. Room rate is $150.
The Green Room has Arizona Cypress
Juniper and Ash trees immediately outside of the window, (where the bobcat 
likes to sleep on warm summer days). Room rate is$125.
Both rooms have two twin beds that can be combined to create one king and shared bath. Rates are single or double occupancy.
The Safari camp room is available for avid birders, naturalists and wildlife viewers.We also have group/team accommodations, please call or email for details.

*Two night stay required for $79/$89 rate. Single night, $89/$99We require a 50% deposit to hold the room reservation. Room cancellations up to 30 days in advance are refundable less a $50 handling charge. Cancellations less than 30 days are non-refundable unless room space is filled. In this instance, we will gladly apply your monies to a future stay. (We reserve the right to limit the number of reschedulings.)
